From Bob Rifo himself
“I am bored of seeing pseudo-DJs use the word ‘LIVE’ to describe opening a laptop, pressing play-stop-cutoff,” he said, slamming his competition with distaste. “Everyone wants to be a DJ and everyone can be a DJ. No problem. But we want to use all this technology as a framework for playing musical instruments. We don’t need to hide behind a monitor any more.”
This hidden rage was released on his announcement of incorporating a true "Live" feel. From live drums, to live guitars, and on-stage acts this is one sharp move that may proof to be a winner for the fans. Rifo also told ITM quote "he has no plans to DJ anytime in the near future" running with his Death Crew 77 also stating “It’s a different vibe, I still enjoy DJing and maybe one day I’ll go back to it. But right now I need the raw energy of playing live.” Seems times are changing in the digital DJ world, seems like everyone/everything wants to capture that "Live" feel, but the definition of what "Live" is, may be different to many.
