Alice In Wonderland Moobie Review + Star Wars Bong

Wassup wassup the iseawaves krew went to Hollywood on Monday. Actually, myself and Shawn were the only actual writers to go, but cmon now Nessa and Ashley contribute to my posts significantly and Turbo should be our photographer if she's not too busy doing coke. Wait I know what you're thinking, where were the other homies!? They all had legit excuses in my eyes, but you be the judge: Uproar works now, Chris had a midterm he didn't know about until the day before, Patrick asked to work Monday night even though I constantly reminded him all last week about the moobie, and Vice is easily influenced by his peers. Anyways I digress.

Let me start off by saying I had heard mixed reviews. About half of the people I talked to said they didn't like it and the other half said they liked it. Regardless of how many bad reviews I heard, reviews are just opinions and I like to form my own before accepting that of another. I think the fact that we saw Tim Burton's vision on a huge ass screen in Hollywood at Disney's premiere theater undeniably enhanced the overall experience. El Capitan doesn't disappoint.

Would I recommend you go see the moobie in theaters? Maybe. I'm really borderline. Although I thoroughly enjoyed it, it didn't blow me away and I won't rave about it like I do about Up In The Air. Visuals were stunning, acting was great, and the story flowed better than I expected. Even better the moobie is open to your own interpretation! Is she on drugs? Is she dreaming?

I saw it as in order to cope with the hardships she experienced as a child, her imagination became a vehicle for her to transverse past those woes into Wonderland where she is destined to be a hero. Once leaving her illusion of grandeur she has completed her metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly(thus the very appropriate ending) and has the courage to speak her mind as well as dream even bigger than before.
